Ready to Ride!

A few Cyclopaths at the Wellesley start; Councilor Mike, Little Dave, Mike Kelleher, Donna, Tam, Drew and Sheldon.

A few photos, Wellesley Start

I was very disappointed to once again be having camera problems (a constant lament this year). My memory card flashed "data corruption", and then shortly later, my camera battery died. Aargh!!!

Mike has since given me a new Nikon Coolpix for my birthday. :)

I was able to get a few shots of the weekend, recharged the battery overnight, and got two or three shots the next day before it died again. Fortunately, I know my camera-loving, picture taking Cyclopaths recorded the entire weekend... and I can't wait to see thier pics.
Donna helps Sheldon with his helmet embellishment - the Cyclopath Smiley, a photo of Sue, and a heart for former Cyclopath Barry Carver. Bruce, Drew, and Mike (with Anne) have their helmets adorned.

Donna sets her computer.

Jeff, an occasional rider with the Cyclopaths last year, in his Cookie Monster shirt.

Sheldon, with the sun at his back.

Birthday Wishes

Another birthday... this one number 42. A great way to celebrate another happy year.

Thank you to all for the many, and varied, renditions of "Happy Birthday" sung thoughout the weekend.
I'm wondering how much chalk Donna owns. I loved seeing the messages she wrote on the street, just over the Bourne Bridge, and curious how she managed that without getting hit by traffic. (?)

Wellfleet Waterstop

Little Dave (top photo, with a friend) and Julie at the Wellfleet waterstop. (Julie came up behind me, 90 minutes later, and rode the last quarter mile to the finish with me!)

Provincetown Finish

I made it to the finish -- the last few miles of hills were tough. It was great to see fellow Cyclopaths Drew, Donna, and Jeff (here in photo), Cape Cod Mike, Ellen, and Mike Kelleher at the finish line.
Clearly Drew loves the camera. What a ham!

Provincetown Finish

Doesn't Michael Kelleher looks marvelous, greeting riders at the finish line, in his grass skirt!
